白佐良（1923—2001），意大利外交官、著名汉学家，一生与中国有着不解之缘，毕生致力于中国文化研究，他在远东三十年的外交生涯中，利用深厚的汉语功底及其对欧洲历史和语言的深刻了解，掌握了大量有关中意两国交往史方面的一手资料，发表了大量有关中国文学史、中西史的论著，将许多的中国经典和通俗文学作品翻译成意大利文，在向西方传播中国文化方面做出了巨大贡献。 马西尼（1960— ），罗马孔子学院院长、著名汉学家，师从白佐良先生。他发表了大量有关普通语言学、中西史、对外汉语教学、意大利传教士在华活动的论著，曾获得中国政府颁发的“中意友好贡献奖”和“中华图书特殊贡献奖”。

克洛德·列维-斯特劳斯，法国著名的社会人类学家、哲学家，法兰西科学院院士，结构主义人类创始人。早年在巴黎大学主修哲学与法律，1934-1937年在巴西圣保罗大学教授社会学，并从事巴西土著之田野研究。1948年返法，1959年出任法兰西学院教授。作为20世纪最伟大的人类学家之一，他的影响波及人类学、语言学、哲学、历史等诸多领域。主要著有《结构人类学家》（1～２）、《神话学》（4卷）、《野性的思维》等。
